About Us

Tim McMillan started his career in homebuilding in 1978 as he learned the homebuilding business from his father, who developed many of Houston’s now-premier community areas – such as Memorial Forest, Rustling Oaks, Rustling Pines, Wilchester, Westchester, Norchester, North Hampton, Northshire, Lochshire, and Idoloch. 

Tim went on to build homes, townhomes and condominiums across the state.  Returning to Houston, Tim and his father started McMillan Builders, Inc. in 1990 – the company that Tim leads today.  Tim McMillan primarily serves the Northwest Houston area.  However, Tim’s accomplishments include homes built throughout Harris, Montgomery and Ft. Bend Counties.  These include numerous custom homes in the Houston area including Norchester, Lakewood Oaks Estates, and April Sound.

Tim sees every home he builds as proud extension of the skills that his father passed down to him.  Through the McMillan family and their heritage of Homebuilding, thousands of homes have served the countless families that have chosen to live in their timeless homes in Texas, the greatest state in the nation.
